Our thoughts and prayers go out to you and your wonderful family in the loss of Awilda. She was such a great person. It was so evident what a wonderful wife and mother she was and I know you will miss her greatly. She always made us laugh at the dental office, especially when she was telling stories about her family.(Sophia, I remember your Las Vegas story) We never heard her say an unkind word about anyone and she always had a beautiful smile on her face. Awilda helped so many students at Mt. Pleasant and was loved by them and by all with whom she worked. She was always kind and loving. She was a wonderful woman of God-she truly loved Him while here on earth and now is loving Him in His presence. This doesn't mean it is easy for those who are left, especially her husband and children, but from all I know about the woman she was through our many (yet too few) talks I know she would want her precious family to pour out their hearts to Him and allow Him to comfort and heal. He is well able...I am so sorry for your loss. This beautiful woman will be sorely missed.

To Awilda's family, I am so saddened for your loss. Awilda was an amazing and beautiful person who took the sun out of the sky to shine on everyone she met. I first met her in the maternity ward at SNHMC. My daughter was having her first child and so was Awilda! They delivered on the same day and almost at the same time, by the same MD. I also worked with her at Dartmouth Hitchcock in Nashua. She was so very special. The memories bring a smile, which is what she gave often..... freely and happily to all. Take care.

Dear Rivera Family, I'm sure I express the surprise & sadness of the entire Sunset Heights Elementary faculty & staff who worked with Awilda during her time at our Nashu,NH school. Some also taught Samuel when he was a student with us. Awilda was a delightful,bubbly,enthusistic & willing ESL Paraprofessional whom the chidren responded to and loved. Cuanto ella gozaba con nuestras reuniones familiares! Aqui en una de ellas. Esperando por el kareoke, me encantaba cuando Awilda pedia canciones y despues no las queria cantar, y decia "es para Winnie, cantala, cantala". Durante el kareoke, preguntaba " que hay de postre?" Que recuerdos! Cuando le pedia consejos, siempre estuvo alli y a veces me decia,"te tengo que decir algo, pero es por tu bien, porque te quiero mucho". "Y para donde vamos?", otras de sus alegres e inolvidables frases. Los desayunos en Denny's, IHop, Dunkin Donuts, les encantaban con la compania de Esmeralda y la mia, hablabamos tanto que se nos iba el tiempo y no nos dabamos cuenta.
