Obituary of Jose Alicea

Jose M. Alicea, age 50, of Bridgeport passed away into the Glorious presence of the Lord on September 7, 2014 at Bridgeport Hospital. He was a Catechist for St. Mary's church. His current employer was First County Bank and former employer was People's United Bank. He was a fan of North Carolina Tar Heels, New York Yankees, and Miami Dolphins. He is the son of Maria M. Alicea and the late Manuel Alicea. In addition to his mother he is also survived by his wife Elsie Crespo; his two daughters Tiffanie Alicea and Natasha Alicea; his siblings Maria M. Rodriguez (Jose), Manuel Alicea (Patria), William Alicea (Lucy), Olga Alicea, Edwin Alicea (Elisa), Ana Gonzalez (Antonio), Esther Vega (Benjamin), Maritza Alicea; and a host of other relatives and friends whom will dearly miss him. He was predeceased by his father Manuel Alicea, his brother Luis Alicea, and his brother Kenny Alicea. Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Friday, September 12, 2014 from 6-8 P.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, (Peaceful Light Funeral Home), 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport, CT. Funeral Services have been scheduled for Saturday, September 13, 2014 beginning at 9:00 A.M. at St. Mary's church followed by interment in Lakeview cemetery, Bridgeport, CT.
