hi familia Just came from Cheo's wake and I can't believe he's gone! Seeing him tonight brought back all the childhood memories of playing with him when we visited. I remember when he left people's he was a bit nervous about the move and but soon he came to like the change. Then for awhile every time we ran into each other he's ask about Florida because he was thinking of moving there someday. Even after everything he's been through in the last year he did not look his age, he was always so handsome and had such a caring heart! May the wonderful memories comfort you through this difficult time. When Cheo hears Jesus call his name he'll wake up to the beautiful promises of God. Until then he will be missed terribly. Love my family, Carmen Alicea

Wishing my deepest sympathy to the family of Jose. As one of Jose's "train buddies" I will always remember his laughter, smile, his one-word "uh-humm" answers in conversations and his kindness. He loved his entire family. Jose always told us about the fun you had together. Hold on to those memories... He will always be with us when we do... May He Rest in Peace...

I was very saddened to hear of Jose's passing. He and I (and his sister Esther) worked together for many years in the People's Bank Trust Department. I particularly enjoyed celebrating or bemoaning each Yankees win or loss. My heartfelt sympathies go out to his entire family. May his memory always bring a smile to your face and warmth to your heart. I am so sorry for your loss. God bless.

My brother Cheo, I can't believe that you are no longer here. I saw your pain and your fight, against this ugly disease. Your a fighter, a warrior and you fought till the end. Cheo, I still can't believe you are gone. You were taken from us way too soon. You fought a courageous battle against this disease, ultimately it won, now you are resting in peace and no longer in pain, and now we have gained another guardian angel in heaven. I hope you are chatting it up with Abuelo(especially about them Yankees, them bums, LOL), Tio Kenny and Tio Wiso. Yari couldn't have asked for a better Godfather. Thank you for helping me keep her on track. Elsie, Tiffanie and Natasha, I'm here for you. I can't imagine YOUR pain, but as a family we will remain united. Know that you can count on me. Until we meet again my Beloved Uncle. I love you.
