Barbara, I have never had the blessing in meeting you, but I have been blessed with having gotten to know your daughter Megan. You have had to have been pretty amazing to have raised a beautiful soul like Megan. She’s quite a gal! Wise beyond her years. I know, Megan is so broken about your loss, but she is strong and will get through this... you go live your best life dancing in heaven with the angels. To all the family, My deepest sympathy.

Barb,
I meant you when o was 15 and got my first job at walbaums! You were kind, friendly and welcoming we enjoyed working together and even after I left walbaums I kept in touch with you through the store. A year later 1 yr later I met this awesome person named Jocelyn and we started introducing me to her family then one day I saw you I was excited to see you and know that you were family with a amazing person I had grown to love as a sister. You never changed your smile and hugs were always welcoming & if I never told you Barb you were an amazing mother, person, friend and woman I am truly honored to have met you and be a part of your life! Sleep easy love you always

I love when my grandma and I walked to the store and she let me get some stuff but not a lot of stuff. She always made me BACON for breakfast when I ask for it, she knows I love bacon ! Unless she didn’t have it then I had to eat something else. When I was living in Bridgeport and I was good a lot she would let me get 2 toys from the family store.
She didn’t like slam but she let me have it because she trusted me not to get in on the rug. I liked when she slept in the living room with me cause I wouldn’t be scared.
I love you grandma !

Barb...you were truly one of a kind. You're laugh was almost as big as your heart. There aren't enough words to express the love and respect I have for you. You raised me as your son and showed me unconditional love. When you smiled that's how we all knew everything was ok. You're example prepared me, Jocie, Becky, Meghan and Alex to be loving..attentive and dedicated parents to our children. You are gone but YOU are forever in my heart. Thank you Barb...I LOVE YOU!!!

I just can't put into words all that I feel right now. Bob and I first met Barbara in the 60,s when we went to college with her sister Sue. In fact, when I had to write a paper I remember using her as a model that I needed for college. Her generosity, zest for life, and love of family are just a few of her attributes. She accomplished more than most people who live much longer than her. Barbara has three beautiful children and a part of her will live on in them and continue with her grandchildren. My heart also breaks for her brothers and sisters. They are a close family and will feel this loss. She was too young to leave. May Barbara and Sue continue to watch over all of them.

Where do I begin. Barbara came into my life when I was about 5 years old. Even though I gave her a hard time at first, She became my second mother. She made sure my brother and I were loved and cared for unconditionally. We were her children until our siblings were born. Even then we were still her children. Barb had the biggest heart and loved everyone. I can still remember her saying" Jocie come tickle my arm". She loved my daughter Tiana from the day she was born and we couldn't ask for a better grandmother. There are so many memories that a book can be written. Everyone who knew her knows that she was always an angel in disguise. Thank You for always being there through the good and the bad.I Love You Forever!!!
