Obituary of Maria Virgen Rosado

Maria Virgen Rosado, age 67 of Bridgeport, Returned to the Loving Arms of the Lord on Saturday, Dec. 29, 2018 at St. Vincent's Hospital in Bridgeport, CT. She was the beloved wife of Benjamin Cruz. Maria was born in Vega Baja, Puerto Rico; daughter of the late Isidro Rosado and Justa Vega prior to relocating to the Bridgeport area many years ago. She is the loving mother of Jose A. Pagan and Jannette Pagan; the caring grandmother of Anthony Pagan, Bianca Acevedo, Lj Acevedo, Marisa Arce, Cameron Arce, Madison Arce, and Nicholas Pagan; the great-grandmother of Vida Grace Perez, Tristan Pagan, and Savannalynn Pagan; and the sister of Ramona Rosado, Ivonne Rosado, Jose Antonio Rosado, and Angel Rosado and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends whom will dearly miss her; She was predeceased by her sister, Rosa Rosado. Friends are invited to attend Calling Hours on Monday, January 7, 2019, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz (Families First at Luz de Paz) 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport, CT 06608. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 1 p.m. at St. Mary's Church, 25 Sherman St. Bridgeport, CT 06608. Her services will conclude with her interment in Lawncroft Cemetery, 1740 Black Rock Turnpike Fairfield, CT 06835.
