I am so sorry to hear of the passing of this great woman. I have a place in my heart for Lydia that will forever remain. We use to joke about the program "La Belleza Latina", whenever a contestant was picked as a winner they would be called up to the judge and the judge would say "eres bella, firma aqui", meaning you won because you are beautiful. We took the phrase and made it our own to compliment one another. At my daughter's wedding she caught up with me and had her little purse in her hand as if it were a piece of paper. She said "Mira, eres bella, firma aqui". Well, in the end you won the contest. Porque para mi siempre vas a ser La Mas Belleza Latina. So for the last time I say to you my beautiful mother (as you always treated me with the same love of a daughter).... Ganaste!! Eres Bella, Firma AQUI. I love you! May the Lord keep you in his ever loving arms and may you rest at peace until we meet again. Love, Christy
