I am now finding about this news. I knew Shameal from Primary school days in Antigua. We both attended Jennings Primary. Ive never forgotten the day when she left school for good to go overseas. She was so loved and appreciated and saddened a lot of us that she left but she did say good bye. Ever since, we've lost contact because we were only kids back then and didnt have the technology we have today to keep up with each other. We were in grade 3 or 4. My mind just ran on her, and i decided to type her name on facebook to try my luck to find an old friend. When i actually found her page i was very shock because ive been searching for years but decided to just try again. But while looking at a picture comment, i saw RIP and i was extremely confuse because i refused to believe, then i saw in the cover photo says remembering Shameal, then i was still in shocked until i decided to google if its really true and i came across this Website and see thats it really true. Wish i had the opportunity to say hi to her for one last time. This news is still so shocking and my deepest condolences goes out to the family. Shameal is in a better place. SIGH

Dear Shameal,
It's going to be so hard to step into the JCC without seeing your welcoming warm smile and talking to you. How is it possible that such a beautiful and caring person will no longer be among us? I remember the first time we met in gym class at Central high school. I had just came up from Jamaica and I was sitting by myself because I didn't know anyone as yet. You and Tina were extremely nice and told me to come and sit with you guys. From there we attended UConn and I would see you around every now and then. I can still hear you laughing now. Shameal I remember the days when I use to work at CCCD, hanging with you was never a dull moment. I remember the times we use to talk about Jamaica and how you always hang with your family in St. Thomas, to helping me train on some of the kids that will switch in my class from 205, and even times when everyone will go out for happy hour or times when our classes would've met in the gym during break, you were always smiling, and was so nice to everyone. You were such a great presence, I know you will truly be missed by those at CCCD, your family and friends here and your family and friends in Jamaica. I even remember when I left CCCD, you wished me the best with my future and that's something I will never forget. Much condolences to your family, I know it must be hard for everyone.
