Obituary of Shameal Jackson
Shameal Jackson, age 24 of Bridgeport passed away suddenly on July 17, 2016 at Bridgeport Hospital. She was the beloved daughter of Desmond Jackson and Marjorie Crumbie her stepmother Melva Jackson and her stepfather Arain Crumbie. Shameal was born in Jamaica prior to relocating to the Bridgeport area. She attended Dunbar Middle school, and Central Magnet High school. She had recently graduated from UCONN with a Bachelor's Degree and worked locally as a Special Education Teacher. Shameal is the caring sister of Kadian Jackson, Dervan Jackson, Akeeme Jackson, Dakeelah Jackson, Dakota Campbell and cousins: Tiffany Mattra, Janice Welhams, Aswayne Mattra, and Tyler Beckford; the adored granddaughter of Viris Mason and Carmen Phillips; the loving niece of Marlene Grant, Dian Williams, Beverly Edwards, Maureen Jackson, Antonette Jackson, and Erica Thompson. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and friends that will sorely miss her. Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Friday, July 29, 2016 from 6 to 10 p.m. at Cathedral of Faith, 2319 Fairfield Ave., Bridgeport, CT 06605. Funeral Services are scheduled for Saturday, July 30, 2016 starting at 10 a.m. at Cathedral of Faith. Her interment will follow at Lakeview Cemetery, Bridgeport. Funeraria Luz de Paz, 426 E.
