Pablo, Iris, Jenny, David and Julio I know your pain. I feel your pain. I also know Iris left you a lot of wonderful memories for you to hold on to. One day soon you will think of her and it will not bring tears to your eyes but smiles to your lips. I will always remember her with a smile on my face. Jehovah God has for those who have passed and I look forward to it. Rev 21: 3-5.

Como se sufre la perdida de un familiar. Mis mas sinceros pésames a la familia Otero.
Conocí T a mi amiga Iris en el 1953, me parecio como que no habria mucho entre ella y yo. Fue todo lo contrario. Siempre nos procuramos, nos vicitamos. Nunca hubo diferencias entre ella y yo.
Juan 3:16 nos deja saber que tanto amo Dios al mundo que dio a su Hijo unigenito, para que todo el que ejerce fe en el no sea destruido, sino que tenga vida eterna. Yo de mi parte espero ver a mi amiga en la resurreción. Los quiero.

Although there are tears now that you are resting, I think of you and smile because I know that you are with Abuelo at last and you are at peace!

Hello David,
I'm sorry for your loss buddy. I definitely know the feeling of losing a loved one since I lost my father and brother 22 years ago. It gets better over time. I clearly remember what a beautiful person your mother was! For the past 16 years or so every time my wife and I would stay over night early the next morning your moms would have a nice hot cup of coffee ready for us. She would say to us "Quiere Comer"? And of course we would say yes! If you need to speak to someone just give me a call buddy...

Dear Iris
it is with a very say heart that I write this but I take much comfort knowing that you are now back with Don Pablo.
Thank you for accepting me so warmly into your family. The times that I spent with you and Don Pablo in Puerto Rico will always remain very special memories for me.
I know that I couldnt eat your cuchifritos with the same relish as Jenny, or that my spoken Spanish never got much past basic. But that never seemed to matter as there were many more wonderful dishes that were put in front of me, and a home where I was always made most welcome.
Thank you for all that you have done to enrich my life and the life of my family.
I will miss you.

Our deepest condolences to the Otero family. Reading her obituary matches this dear woman to the T. I truly remember my days hanging out with my mom at the store and visiting you guys at the house. It's been a long time since we seen each other, but we always held you guys near our hearts. I know her love was always Mr. Otero now she's in heaven with him.
