Obituary of Alturo Rodriguez

Alturo Rodriguez, age 56, of Bridgeport entered into eternal rest on Monday, February 1, 2016 in St. Vincent's Medical Center, Bridgeport, CT, while surrounded by his loving family. He is the beloved husband of Ruth E. Rodriguez. In addition to his wife he is also survived by his father Pedro Rodriguez; his sons Ricardo Moreno and Miguel J. Rodriguez; his daughter Marysol Rodriguez; his grandchildren Michael Anthony Moreno, Giovannie Albert Dapp, Jelanie Marie Moreno, Ricardo Ray Moreno Jr.; his siblings Pedro Rodriguez, Roberto Rodriguez, Victor Rodriguez, Carlos Rodriguez, and Iris Jimenez; nieces and nephews Monique Bradshaw and her husband Andy Bradshaw, Jazmine Rodriguez Clemente Rodriguez, Sergio Rodriguez, Natalia Rodriguez, Romulo Jimenez, Javier Jimenez, Raul Papa Reyes and his wife Cathy Reyes; and a host of other relatives and friends that will miss him dearly. He is predeceased by his mother Martina Ortiz. Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Wednesday, February 3, 2016, from 6-8 P.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, (Peaceful Light Funeral Home), 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport, CT; Funeral services have been scheduled for Thursday, February 4, 2016, beginning at 10 a.m. at the Funeral Home followed by a mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary's Catholic Church at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Mt. Grove Easton Cemetery, Easton, CT.
