Alturo was an AMAZING human being! He was kind, caring, and genuinely loved people. While working with him, I personally witnessed how he sought every single opportunity to seek out and to care for those unable to care for themselves. To Mrs. Ruthy, Evelyn Rodriguez, Marysol n Miguel,
I like to share the day my brother Alturo passed...it was about 11.30am I spoke to my father n I asked how's Alturo doing ??? he said the same. Went n lit a candle for him n said " it's time Alturo to let go n rest n peace" no more suffering. About half hour later my dad called n said he's gone he's not suffering anymore n he said call the family.I had the feeling. Then my cousin called ( I'm crying) to give me condolences and I was outside in my back porch n at that moment a big butterfly started flying n zig-zagging in the backyard n told Pancho look at that big butterfly! He didd't see it . I told my cousin on the phone n she said that's your brother. I felt a feeling of confort n happy he came to visit me like Mom does but she's a small yellow butterfly n that's the only butterfly that I see a lot around the house. I knew than they r together n at peace. I was at ease
I cannt express my sorrow for our lose a loyal husband, great father,a cool friend, n a good brother n son. He will b missed. Keep the faith n God bless.

I can't express the sorrow in my heart this very moment. Arturo like all his brothers and sisters were more than just friends, they were family. Arturo was a pure soul devoid of so many of the vices we as youth experience. He was taken far too soon and will be deeply missed. Like many of the other Rodriguez's, he was one of the older brothers I didn't have as I was the oldest in my family. I will always cherish my experiences and interactions with Art.

My Condolences to your Family, Arturo went to grammar school with me I think I first met him in 1st grade and he always hD something funny to say. We became good friends by the time we got to the eigth grade and stayed in touch over the decades he had a love for Christ like no other I think that's what stood out the most for me, and whenever he'd tell you that he'd prayed for you, you could count on it. He was the kind of man that would give you his full attention when you spoke to him. And oh did he love the Yankee he'd argue when they lost but when they won he'd brag.
