Obituary of Ruben Gonzalez, Jr.

Ruben Gonzalez, Jr. Age 54, of Bridgeport, beloved husband of Carmen M. Gonzalez has entered the Gates of Heaven. His glorious entrance occurred on December 26, 2015 in Bridgeport Hospital while surrounded by his loving family. Ruben was employed as a recycling supervisor for the City of Bridgeport where he was employed for over 20 years. In addition to his wife he is survived by his father Ruben Gonzalez, Sr., of Bridgeport and his mother Julia Gonzalez of Arizona; Also his sons Ruben Gonzalez III, Luis Villegas, Joel Gonzalez, Keith Gonzalez, and Javier Gonzalez; his daughters Evelina Gonzalez and Suheily Villegas; brothers George Gonzalez, Sr. and Christopher Gonzalez; sisters Julianna Young, Donna Gonzalez and Arlene Gonzalez; eleven grandchildren and many more relatives and friends whom will dearly miss him. Friends may attend calling hours on Monday, January 4, 2016 from 7-9 P.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz (Peaceful Light Funeral Home), 426 East Washington Ave., Bridgeport, CT. Funeral Services have been scheduled for Tuesday January 5, 2016 starting with a Funeral Mass at St. Charles Church, 1255 East Main St., Bridgeport, CT at 10 a.m. Final disposition will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
