Obituary of Marta Calderon

Marta Calderon, age 64, of Bridgeport passed away into the peaceful rest of the Lord suddenly on October 16, 2015 in Bridgeport Hospital. Marta was born in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico but had relocated to the Bridgeport area many years ago. Marta was more known for her passion in serving the residents of Bridgeport and beyond during the Puerto Rican Parade events. She feverishly wanted to always make sure everyone had the information and assistance needed to work towards making the event a success. She will be sadly missed. She leaves to cherish her memory her son Ramon L. Ramos, Jr. (Madeline), Carlos R. Ramos (Nancy); Daughter Lissette Ramos (Jorge); her sister Mildred Calderon (Angel); nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends who will dearly miss her. Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Wednesday, October 21, 2015 from 6-8 P.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, (Peaceful Light Funeral Home), 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport, CT.
