Obituary of Miguel Ramirez Garcia

Miguel Ramirez Garcia, age 69, currently of Kissimmee, FL, returned to the loving arms of the Lord on Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at his residence, Kissimmee, FL. He was born in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico, son of the late Alvaro Ramirez and the late Paula Garcia. He worked for Alinabal in Milford, CT. Miguel was a softball player for the Borinquen League for many years, and was an Avid Mets fan. He is the loving husband of Gladys Ramirez; father of Michael Ramirez and Edwin Ramirez. In addition he is also survived by his sisters Ester Caban and Rosa Valentin; his grandchildren Marielis, Angela, and Edwin, Jr.; and a host of other relatives and friends whom will dearly miss him. In addition to his parents he is also predeceased by his siblings Arcadia, Nilda, Antonio, Damian, and Jacinto. Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Sunday, October 11, 2015 from 6-9 P.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, (Peaceful Light Funeral Home), 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport. CT. Funeral services have been scheduled for Tuesday, October 13, 2015 beginning at 10:00 A.M. at the Funeral Home followed by his interment in St. Michael's Cemetery, Stratford, CT.
