Obituary of Armando Lopez Sanchez

Armando Lopez Sanchez, age 63 of Bridgeport, entered into the Eternal Rest of the Lord suddenly on Wednesdy April 22, 2015 at Bridgeport Hospital. He was born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico; son of Maria Virgen Sanchez and the late Armando Lopez Sanchez prior to relocating to the Bridgeport area many years ago. Armando worked as a cabinet maker for some time, but his true passion was music - especially playing the congas. He is the loving father of Maria, Virginia, Linda, Amanda, and Armando Lopez; and the adoring grandfather of 11 grandchildren. Armando is also survived by his ex-wife Crus Lopez and brother-in-law Eduardo Navaro. Friends are invited to attend Calling Hours on Monday, April 27, 2015 from 7-9 pm at the Funeraria Luz de Paz (Peaceful Light Funeral Home) 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport, CT 06608. Funeral services have been scheduled for Tuesday, April 28, 2015 beginning at 8:00 A.M. at the funeral home followed by his interment in Lakeview Cemetery, Bridgeport, CT.
