Obituary of Luz Montanez

Luz Teresa Montanez, age 82 of Bridgeport beloved daughter of the Late Ramon Montanez and the late Luisa Franco passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2009 in Northbridge Healthcare Center, Bridgeport, CT; Luz was born in Rio Piedras Puerto Rico but had migrated to the United States many years ago. Luz did many things in her life from seamstress to working in County Clerk's offices and was known for being a woman of many trades and one that perfected so many. She is survived by her sons Jose and Raul ; her daughters Yolanda Worrell and fiance Rogelio Cuadrado, Maria A. Castro, Maria Millan and her husband Bernabe; seven grandchildren with special mention of Ericka Jean-Louis and her husband Simon Jean-Louis of Bridgeport; four great grandchildren, Edward, Lenny, Jayden and J'anni; and many other relatives and friends who will dearly miss her. She was predeceased by her daughter Santa Camacho; Funeral services will take place, Monday, June 22, 2009 beginning at 10:00 A.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, ( La Funeraia de NUESTRA Comunidad ), 426 East Washington Ave. Bridgeport followed by Entombment in the Mausoleum at Mt. Grove Cemetery, Bridgeport; Friends are also invited to attend calling hours on Sunday, June 21, 2009 from 6-8 P.M. at the Funeral home.
