Esmeralda Mena, age 23, of Bridgeport passed into the Peaceful eternal rest of the Lord Suddenly on Saturday, November 15, 2008 in New Haven, CT. Esmeralda was born in the Dominican Republic but had moved to the United States since the early age of 6. She is the daughter of Jose a. Mena and Esperanza Lizardo of Orlando, Florida. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her daughter Karma Diaz of Bridgeport; grandparents Betty Lizardo and Dario Lizardo; Her brother Daniel C. Mena and sister Juana R. Mena; Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Thursday, November 20, 2008 from 7-9 P.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport; Final disposition will be private.
