Obituary of Isolina Cruz

Isolina Melendez Cruz, age 76 of Brooklyn, NY passed into the peaceful rest of the Lord on Tuesday, March 18, 2009 while in her sister’s home while surrounded by her loving family. Isolina was born in Santurce, Puerto Rico before moving into the New York area many years ago. She is the daughter of the late Alejandro Melendez and the late Julia E. Cruz; She is survived by her life partner Jose Andino of Brooklyn, NY, sons Angel R. Otero of New Milford, NJ and Roberto Rivera of Queens, NY; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends who will dearly miss her. Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Friday, March 20, 2009 beginning at 9:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, (La Funeraria de NUESTRA Comunidad ), 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport followed by a Funeral Service at the Seventh Day Adventist Church, 980 Sylvan Avenue, Bridgeport; interment will follow the service in Mt.
