Obituary of Manuel Matias

Manuel A. "Manny" Matias III, age 17 of Bridgeport passed away suddennly on July 1, 2008 in St. Vincent''s Medical Center.  The son of Manuel A. Matias Jr and Brenda Mendez, he was born in Houston, Texas before moving to the Bridgeport area many years ago.  He was currently entering his Senior year at Bassick High School in the upcoming school year.  In addition to his parents he is survived by his Brothers Juan M. Matias, Joshua Mendez and Jordan Delgado all of Bridgeport;  His sisters Monica Matias and Samantha Delgado both of Bridgeport;  his paternal Grandparents Manuel A. Matis and Carmen Hernandez both of Bridgeport and His Maternal Grandmother Aida Mendez of Bridgeport;  and Many other relativs and friends that will cherish his memory forever.  Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 5, 2008 beginning at 9:00 A.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz (La Funeraria de Nuestra Comunidad), 426 E.
