Obituary of Margarita Martinez

Martinez-Margarita Martinez, age 97, of Bridgeport, beloved wife of Rafael Martinez, passed into the peaceful rest of the Lord on Monday, January 15, 2007 in her home while surrounded by her loving Family. Margarita was bornin Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico before moving to the Bridgeport area many years ago. Along to her husband she is survived by her son Carlos Martinez; her daughters Melania Hernandez, Amelia Gomez, Joanne Castro and Raquel Castro; nineteen grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren, relatives and friends whom will dearly miss her. Funeral services will take place on Thursday, January 18, 2007 beginning at 9:00 A.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Charle''s Barromeo Church. Interment will follow in ST. Michael''s Cemetery, Stratford, CT.
