Obituary of Jose Martinez

Jose D. Martinez, age 91 of Bridgeport passed into the eternal rest of the Lord on Friday, July 25, 2008 in his home while surrounded by his loving family. Jose was born in Havana, Cuba before moving into the Bridgeport area since 1956. He is the son of the late Manuel Martinez and the late Esperanza Garrido; He is the beloved husband of Esperanza Martinez of Bridgeport; In addition to his wife he is survived by his son Francisco Martinez of Bridgeport; and a host of other relatives and friends who are going to dearly miss him. Funeral Services will take place on Monday, July 28, 2008 beginning at 11:00 A.M. with a Mass of Christian Burial Directly at St. Patrick’s Church . Interment will follow in Mt.
