Obituary of Maria Lugo-Baez

Maria Lugo Baez, age 82 of Bridgeport passed into the peaceful rest of the Lord on Sunday, April 29, 2007 in St. Vincent''s Medical Center. Maria was a native of Caguas, Puerto Rico but moved to the Bridgeport area many years ago. She is the widow of the Late Mario Lugo Baez; She was a member of St. Mary''s Church for oiver 40 years where she was a cursillista also. She is survived by her two daughters Daisy Ann Lugo of West Haven, CT and Maria Olivera and her husband Herminio of Bridgeport; two sisters Arcadia Perez and Crucita Figueroa; her three grandchildren Herminio Olivera III, Marcos Olivera and his wife Polly and William D. Nieves; her great grandchild Nicholas John Olivera and other relatives and friends whom will dearly miss her. Funeral Services will take place on Wednesday, May 2, 2007 beginning at 8:00 A.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, 426 E. Washington Ave., bridgeport followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary''s Church at 9:00 A.M.; Interment will follow in St. Michael''s Cemetery, Stratford, CT; Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Tuesday, May 1, 2007 from 7-9 P.M. at the Funeral Home.
