Obituary of Raymond Diaz
Raymond L. Diaz, age 61, of shelton, passed away suddenly on saturday, August 8, 2009 in the early morning. Raymond is the beloved husband of Frannie Diaz whom he married over 38 years ago. He is the son of the late Heraclio Diaz and the Late Aurelia Colon; He was born in Bridgeport before moving into the shelton area and was employed by Sikorsky Aircraft for the past 30 years. Raymond was a U.S. Veteran of the United States Navy and had served our country in the Vietnam War. He is survived by his children Diana Diaz Ballaro and her husband Thomas, Raymond L. Diaz , Jr. and his wife Sabrina; four grandchildren Isabela, Thomas & David Ballaro and Liam Andrew Diaz; his sisters Glady Rodriguez, Anita Dunseth, Nereida Bonilla, and Flora Diaz; his brothers Orlando Diaz & Carlos Diaz; and a host of cousins and friends who will dearly miss him. Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Tuesday, August 11, 2009, from 6-8 P.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz ( La Funeraria de NUESTRA Comunidad ), 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport; Interment will take place on Wednesday, August 12, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. at Lakeview Cemetery, 885 Boston Avenue, Bridgeport, CT.
