Gualberto Lopez, age 71, of Bridgeport but currently in Miami, Florida, Passed into eternal peaceful rest on Wednesday, May 30, 2007 in His daughter''s Home in Miami, Florida. Gualberto is a native of Guayama, Puerto Rico before moving to the area many years ago. He is the son of the late Justino Lopez and the Late Antonia Vazquez; He is survived by his beloved wife Maria Gomez; sons Roberto Lopez, Ausberto Lopez, Israel Gomez, Hector Lopez, Angel Lopez and Luis Lopez; daughters Diana Lopez, Annie Lopez, Maria E. Lopez, Maria G. Lopez, Elizabeth Lopez and Lennys Lopez;twenty grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; and other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 4, 2007 beginning at 9:00 A.M. at the Funeraria luz de Paz,426 E. Washington ave., Bridgeport followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Charle''s Barromeo Church; Interment will follow in Lakeview Cemetery, Bridgeport, CT; Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Sunday, June 3, 2007 from 6-8 P.M. at the Funeral Home.
