Obituary of Maria Leon

Leon, Maria Leon, age 78, of Bridgeport a native of Cidra, Puerto Rico, passed into the eternal rest of the Lord on Sunday, October 5, 2008 in her home while surrounded by her family. She is the daughter of the late Margaro Cotto and the Late Anastacia Negron; She is survived by her sons Santos Leon and Carlos Leon; daughters Maria Saez, Gloria Ortiz and Virginia Leon; twenty two grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends who will dearly miss her. Funeral services have been scheduled for Thursday, October 9, 2008 beginning at 9:00 A.M. At the Funeraria Luz de Paz (la Funeraria de NUESTRA comunidad), 426 E. Washington ave, Bridgeport, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Agustine's Cathedral; Interment will follow in Park Cemetery, Bridgeport, CT; Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Wednesday, October 8, 2008 from 7-9 P.M.
