Obituary of Felicita Irizarry

Felicita Irizarry, age 85, currently of Bridgeport but a Native of Ponce, Puerto Rico passed into the peaceful rest of the Lord on Saturday, January 10, 2009 in St. Vincent''s Medical Center. Felicita was a joyful, giving soul who would contribute her everything to everyone who came into contact with her. Her unparalleled cooking will be missed. She loved Gardening, Dancing, singing and life itself. She is survived by her sons Efren Irizarry and his wife Nylda, Nestor Irizarry and his wife Evelyn, George Irizarry and his wife Ingrid, and Albert Irizarry and his wife Ada; her daughters Egda Irizarry, Lourdes Quintana and her husband William, Estenia Martinez, Evelyn Irizarry and Wanda Muniz; her brother Modesto Ruiz of Ponce, Puerto Rico; sixteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends who will dearly miss her. Friends are invited to attend calliing hours on Monday, January 12, 2009 from 7-9 P.M. At the Funeraria Luz de Paz (La Funeraria de NUESTRA Comunidad, 426 E.Washington Ave. Bpt., CT . Funeral services have been scheduled for Tuesday, January 13, 2009 beginning at 8:00 A.M. at the Funeral Home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary''s Church at 9:00 A.M. Interment will follow in Mt. Grove Easton Cemetery.
