Obituary of Tommy Hernandez

Hernandez-Tommy Hernandez, age 35 currently of Stratford, CT, died suddenly on April 29, 2007 in Stratford; Tommy is the son of the late Carlos M. Hernandez and Ana L. Serrano of Stratford; He was born in Chicago, Illinois but moved to the Bridgeport area many years ago and then most recently to Stratford. He had been employed in the banking industry for many years having been employed by several local banks including Chase Bank and People’s Bank. He was considered by many as such a caring soul always helping and caring for whoever he came into contact with. Along to his mother he is survived by his brothers Carlos Hernandez and Geraldo Figueroa both of Bridgeport; His sisters Ana Hernandez of Waterbury, Blanca Hernandez and Carmen Hernandez both of Bridgeport and Evelyn Hernandez of Stratford; three nieces Mari, Ashley, Yezenia; nine nephews Javie, Louie, Pauly, Kenny, Memito, Jacob, Elijah, Merril, Luis; with special mention of his Goddaughter Vianca Lebron and Godson Paul Burwell Jr; and many other relatives and friends whom will dearly miss him. Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 7, 2007 beginning at 9:00 A.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in ST. George’s Roman Catholic Church; Interment will follow in Lakeview Cemetery; Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Sunday, May 6, 2007 from 6-8 P.M. at the Funeral Home.
