Obituary of Placida Guzman

Guzman-Placida Guzman, age 85, currently of Milford, CT, passed into the peaceful rest of the Lord on Saturday, January 27, 2007 in Milford Hospital. Placida was born in San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico before moving to the Bridgeport area many years ago then moving to Milford just two years ago to be with her daughter. This vibrant woman was a gifted seamstress, she was very active in politics in the 60''s for the Bridgeport area; she also volunteered for the Salvation Army and Woodfield family services for many years. Truly an asset for all those that knew her. She is survived by her son Modesto Orozco and his wife Genara of Orlando, Florida, Eulogia Delgado and her husband Phillip of Milford, CT and Carmen Gairaud of San Fernando, California; ten grandchildren, twenty one great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren; and other relatives and friends. She will be greatly missed; Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, January 31, 2007 beginning at 10:00 A.M. Directly at the Cornerstone Christian Center, 192 Meadow Street, Milford, CT Followed by interment in Lakeview Cemetery, Bridgeport, CT.
