Obituary of Nelyda Figueroa

Nelyda Figueroa, age 43, of Bridgeport, passed away suddenly on May 23, 2009 in St. Vincent's Medical Center. She is the daughter of Jose Lopez of Florida and the late Rosa Vidro; Nelyda is the wife of Gilbert Figueroa whom she married over 23 years. In addition to her husband she is survived by her two sons Gilbert Figueroa Jr. and Christopher E. Figueroa both of Bridgeport; She is also survived by her brohters Jose Lopez Jr and Juan Lopez; sister Naomi Moya, barbara Lopez and Vivian Lopez; and a host of other relatives and friends who will sorely miss her. Calling hours have been scheduled for Thursday, May 28, 2009 beginning at 9:00 A.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, ( la Funeraria de NUESTRA Comunidad ), 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport followed by a Mass of Christian Burialin St. Charle's Church; Interment will follow in Mt. Grove Easton Cemtery.
