Obituary of Iris Figueroa

Iris Figueroa, age 79, of Bridgeport, beloved wife of Victor M. Figueroa, passed into eternal rest on Monday, December 8, 2008 in St. Vincent's Medical Center. She was born in Aguas Buenas, Puerto Rico to the Late Bartolo Hernandez and the late Teresa Delgado before moving into the Bridgeport area over 56 years ago. in addition to her husband she is survived by her sons Hector D. Resto, Victor H. Resto and Dennis Resto; Daughters Maria T. Ropic, Marlene Resto, Darlene Diaz, Marilyn Diaz and Iraida Williams; thirteen grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss her. Funeral services have been scheduled for Thursday, December 11, 2008 beginning at 10:00 A.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz ( la Funeraria de NUESTRA Comunidad ), 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport followed by interment in Lakeview Cemetery, Bridgeport; Friends are also invited to attend calling hours on Wednesday, December 10, 2008 from 7-9 P.M. at the Funeral Home.
