Obituary of Cruz Cordero

Cruz Maria Feliciano Cordero, age 70, currently of Camuy, Puerto Rico died on Sunday, Janaury 4, 2009 in St. Raphael''s Hospital in New Haven, CT. Cruz was born in Camuy, Puerto Rico but had lived in the area for many years prior to moving back to Puerto Rico approximately 15 years ago. She is the daughter of the late Leopoldo Feliciano an the late Candita Cordero. She is survived by her sons Ruben Arroyo, David Arroyo, Lindsay Rivera, Karl Rivera and Edgar Feliciano. Daughters Jeannette Feliciano, Judy Rodriguez and Norma Velez; Her Sisters Iris Fernandez, Eladia Feliciano, Ana Gloria Velez and Luz Nereida Falco; 24 grandchildren and 17 Great grandchildren; she was predeceased by her son Edwin Rivera; Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, January 7, 2009 beginning at 9:00 A.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, ( la Funeraria de NUESTRA comunidad ), 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport followed by interment in St. Michael''s Cemetery, Stratford, CT; Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Tuesday, January 6, 2009 from 7-9 P.M. at the Funeral Home.
