Obituary of Digna Echevarria

Digna M. Echevarria, age 67 of Bridgeport entered into the peaceful rest of the Lord suddenly on Thursday, December 20, 2007 in her home. Digna was a native of Salinas, Puerto Rico before moving into the Bridgeport area many years ago. She is the widow of the late Leonardo Echevarria. She is survived by her sons Leonardo Echevarria of Florida, Jose Echevarria, Manuel Echevarria and Lenny Echevarria all of Bridgeport; her daughters Maria Vazquez, Ines Hernandez and Marisol Younger. 27 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends who will dearly miss her; Funeral Services will take place on Monday, December 24, 2007 beginning at 8:30 A.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. George''s Roman Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Park Cemetery; Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Sunday, December 23, 2007, from 6-8 P.M. at the Funeral Home; Please sign our online registerbook.
