Obituary of Daniel Miranda

Daniel Miranda Jr., age 67, of Bridgeport passed away & joined his beloved suddenly on Thursday, March 15, 2012 in his home. Daniel was born in Yauco, Puerto Rico to the late Daniel Miranda and the late Angela Garcia before moving into the Bridgeport area over 50 years ago; He is the husband of the late Delia Rodriguez; He was a wonderful musician who loved playing his guitar and singing songs including Puerto Rican Folk music. Daniel was Man with a heart of Gold and a wonderful sense of humor and loved by all who surrounded him. He is survived by his sons Daniel Miranda III, Julian Miranda, Joshua Miranda, Kevin Rodriguez, Alvin Rodriguez, Ilvin Rodriguez and Eligio Rodriguez; his daughters Luz S. Miranda and Marylyn Miranda; His dear sisters Margarita, Gladys, Lourdes, Nereida and Teresa; twenty three grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends who will dearly miss him. Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Tuesday, March 20, 2012 from 10 AM until 1:00 P.M. followed by a Funeral Service at 1:00 P.M. Interment will follow in Park Cemetery, Bridgeport, CT next to his beloved wife Delia Rodriguez; Calling hours and Services will be held at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, (Peaceful Light Funeral Home), 426 E.
