Obituary of Regina Diaz

Regina Colon Diaz, age 73 of Bridgeport, the beloved wife of Claudio Colon passed away in St. Vincents Medical Center with her husband of almost 50 years her side. She was born in Cayey, Puerto Rico before moving into the Bridgeport area many years ago. Since she moved here she had attended St. Mary''s Church in Bridgeport; In addition to her husband she is survived by her sons Edwin Colon of New Haven, CT; her daughter Daisy Colon of Bridgeport; her grandaughter Jennifer Correa of Bridgeport; and ther relatives and friends who will dearly miss her. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 18, 2008 beginning at 8:00 A.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary''s Church; interment will follow in ST. Michael''s Cemetery, Stratford, CT; Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Thursday, January 17, 2008 from 6-8 P.M. at the Funeral Home.
