Obituary of Rose DelMonte

Del Monte-Rose Mary Delmonte, age 88, of Bridgeport passed into the peaceful rest on Friday, June 15, 2007 in St. Joseph Manor, Trumbull, CT. She was born in Wilkensburg, PA before moving to the Bridgeport area many years ago. She is the wife of the late Arthur Delmonte; She was the cofounder of the Bridgeport Taxpayers Association, Part of her Neighboorhood Block Watch; Commissioner for the Aged in Bridgeport; she had been involved in the Bridgeport PAL for over 20 years; She was part off the Bethany Center and of the St. Andrew''s Church Friendship Club; She had been employed at A&P for over 30 years as a Checkout Clerk before retiring; Her vivaciousness for life will never be forgotten;She is survived by her son Albert A. DelMonte and his wife Victoria of Bridgeport; her grandchildren Raquel Torres and her husband David and Mathew DelMonte and his wife Kimberly; her great grandchildren David, Rosa, Daniel Isaiah, Caleb, Alissa and Ryan; and other relatives and friends whom will sadly miss her. Friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Andrew''s Church, Bridgeport on Monday, June 18, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. followed by interment in St. Peter''s Cemetery, Danbury, CT; Please sign our online registerbook
