Obituary of Adela Cruz

Cruz-Adela Cruz, age 79, beloved widow of the Late Ismael Cruz Jimenez, passed into the eternal peaceful rest of the Lord on Saturday, August 23, 2008 in Bridgeport Healthcare Center. Adela was born in Utuado, Puerto Rico prior to moving into the Bridgeport area many years ago. She was a loving, joyful woman who loved family and all those that surrounded her. She was always willing to help whoever she could and considered the emergency babysitter who never failed. Nevertheless, we must mention her cooking which was unparalleled and she always had food to eat for everyone who came her way. No one was ever left without a meal with Adela around. Truly a Precious Gem that will never be duplicated in our world. She is survived by her son David Cruz; Her daughters Trinidad Martinez, Migdalia Urriola, Janet Cruz and Margarita Wilson. Fifteen grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends who will dearly miss her; In addition to her husband she was predeceased by her son Roberto Cruz and one grandchild Jordan Cruz; Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 26, 2008 beginning at 10:00 A.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz (La Funeraria de NUESTRA comunidad), 426 East Washington Ave., Bridgeport followed by interment in Woodlawn Cemetery, Stamford, CT; Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Monday (TODAY), August 25, 2008 at the Funeral Home from 7-9 P.M.
