Obituary of Raquel Cooney
Raquel Cooney, age 59, entered into peaceful rest on Saturday, June 24, 2006. Raquel was born in Bayamon, Puerto Rico and has been a resident of Bridgeport for the past 40 years. She is the daughter of Antonio Zapata and the late Providencia Gomez. She leaves behind her beloved husband Raymond Cooney of Bridgeport, her daugher Ilene Cooney of Bridgeport a host of nieces and nephews and friends who will miss her dearly.
Calling hours for Raquel will take place on Tueday, June 27, 2006 from 6 to 8P.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, 426 E. Washington Ave., Brigeport. Final disposition will be at the convenience of the family.
