Obituary of Jose Bermudez

Jose "PEPE" Bermudez, age 75, of Bridgeport, a native of Aguas Buenas, Puerto Rico passed into the peaceful eternal rest of the Lord on Sunday, September 14, 2008 in Northbridge Healthcare Center. Jose is the husband of the Late Alicia Bermudez; Jose contributed a lot of time in S.A.D.A., answering phones and sharing time with all those who came in. He is survived by his sons Jose A. Bermudez Jr. and his wife Cindy, Ellis J. Bermudez and Luis C. Torres; His daughter Karen Bermudez; brother Rafael Lopez and his wife Adelaida; grandchildren Leilani Bermudez, Alayne Martinez, Maria Torres, Nelson Collazo, Wesley Collazo and Luis Torres Jr.; six great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends who will never forget him. Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 19, 2008 beginning at 9:00 A.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz,(La Funeraria de NUESTRA comunidad), 426 E. Washington Ave., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Charles Roman Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Mt. Grove Cemetery, Bridgeport, CT. Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Thursday, September 18, 2008 from 7-9 P.M. at the Funeral Home.
