Obituary of Santa Alvarado

Alvarado-Santa Alvarado, age 69 of Bridgeport passed into eternal rest on Friday, June 29, 2007 in St. Vincent’s Medical Center while surrounded by her loving family. She is the daughter of the late Carmelo Mendez and the late Maria Rivera; She was born in Naguabo, Puerto Rico before moving to the Bridgeport area over 45 years ago. She is the beloved wife of Felix Alvarado of Bridgeport; Along to her husband she also leaves to cherish her memory her son Miguel A. Ramos Jr. and his wife Susan M. Ramos of Bridgeport; Daughters Daisy Alvarado and Madeline Alvarado Quintero and her husband Angel M. Quintero Jr. of Bridgeport; eleven grandchildren and two great grandchildren; and other relative and friends who will dearly miss her. Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Tuesday, July 3, 2007 from 10:30 A.M. – 12:30 A.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Raphael’s Church; interment will follow in Lakeview Cemetery; Please sign our online registerbook
