Obituary of Gloria Padilla

Gloria M. Alicea Padilla, age 48, currently of Shelton, CT passed into the peaceful rest of the Lord on Friday, December 5, 2008 in St. Mary’s Hospital, Waterbury, CT. Gloria was born and lived in Bridgeport for the majority of her life before recently going to Shelton to live with her daughter. She is the daughter of Casimiro Alicea of Florida and Maria C. Ruiz of Bridgeport; in addition to her parents she is survived by her daughter Victoria Rodriguez and her husband David of Shelton, CT; brother William Alicea of Florida; Sister Iris Badillo Naderi of Branford; Aunt Ana Molina; Grandchild Mikaila Madison Rodriguez and a host of other relatives and friends who will dearly miss her. She was predeceased by her sister Monserrate Alicea Mollinedo; Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Tuesday, December 9, 2008 from 8:30 A.M. – 10:30 A.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz ( La Funeraria de NUESTRA Comunidad ), 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 A.M. Interment will follow in Park Cemetery, Bridgeport; CT.
