Obituary of Yvonne Acevedo

Yvonne Acevedo, Age 54, of Stratford, beloved wife of Pedro T. Acevedo entered into peaceful rest suddenly on May 17, 2008 in Bridgeport hospital. Yvonne was born in New York, New York before moving into the Bridgeport in the 1970''s area and 18 months ago to Stratford; She is the daughter of Rafael Rios and Pura Rios Pantojas and her husband Guillermo Torres; She was employed with ABCD where she was a Daycare Teacher''s Aide; In addition to her husband and parents she is survived by her daughters/nieces, Rosalinda Rodriguez and Cecilia Rodriguez; Her Brother Fredrick Rios of Bridgeport; Sisters Magaly Rios and Martha Piazza of Brideport; she was predeceased by her brothers the late Robert Rios and the late Jorge L. Santos and her sister the late Nancy Garcia; and other relatives and friends who will dearly miss her; Funeral services will take place on Thursday, May 22, 2008 beginning at 10:00 A.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Ambrose Church. Interment will follow in St. Michael''s Cemetery, Bridgeport; Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Wednesday, May 21, 2008 from 5-8 P.M. at the Funeral Home.
