Obituary of Carmen Lopez

Carmen A. Lopez, age 76 of Bridgeport, passed into eternal rest with the Lord on Thursday, June 18, 2009 in Bridgeport Hospital; Carmen was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico but had moved into the Bridgeport Area many years ago. She is the daughter of the late Antonio Lopez and the Late Maria Luisa Aponte; She is survived by her sons Wilfredo Hernandez and Joseph Hernandez and his wife Marlene; Daughter Elizabeth Hernandez and her husband Jimmy Colon; grandchildren Denise, Marie, Megan, Joseph, Orlando, Luis and Takisha; several great grandchildren and with special mention of Diamond & Amanda; her best Friend Nilda Gutierrez; and other relatives and friends; She was predeceased by Miguel Angel Lugo, her grandson; Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Monday, June 22, 2009 from 6-8 P.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, (la Funeraria de NUESTRA Comunidad ), 426 E. Washington Avenue, Bridgeport.
