Obituary of Modesto Cotto

Modesto "Tito" Cotto, age 65, of Stratford passed away peacefully on February 6, 2015.He was the beloved son of the late Rafael A. Cotto Sr. and Virginia S. Patron. Born in Caguas, PR, he relocated to Bridgeport at a young age with his family. Retired from the Southern CT Gas Co. and later went on to work for the Yellow Cab Co. He enjoyed taking long walks, meeting people, loved the ocean and especially fishing where he said he went to meditate and talk with God. Tito was predeceased by his sister, Maria Antonia Agosto. He leaves behind his beloved son, Michael Angelo Cotto (Ana) and granddaughter, Juliana Cotto of FL. Other survivors include his sisters, Ana M. Ortiz, Jennie Morales, brother, Rafael A. Cotto Jr.. He leaves a cherished friend Marisol Espada and a confidante, Roxanne Arroyo as well as a host of relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.
