Obituary of Gilberto Portalatin

Gilberto Portalatin Ruiz, age 80, entered into eternal life on February 6, 2015 at the CT Hospice in Branford. He was the beloved husband of Carlina Soto. Gilberto was born in Hatillo, Puerto Rico but had relocated to the Connecticut area many years ago. He is the loving father of Alberto Portalatin, Luz E. Rivera, Zulma I. Portalatin, and Marilyn Portalatin; and the adoring grandfather of twelve grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Gilberto is also survived by a host of other relatives and friends whom will sorely miss him. Friends are invited to attend Calling Hours on Wednesday, February 11, 2015 from 7-9 p.m. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz (Peaceful Light Funeral Home), 426 East Washington Ave. Bridgeport, CT. Funeral Services have been scheduled for Thursday, February 12, 2015, 10:00 A.M. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Park Cemetery, Bridgeport, CT.
