Obituary of Luisa Barahona

Luisa Barahona, age 82, of Bridgeport transitioned into the embrace of the Lord on January 27, 2015 at Bridgeport Hospital, Bridgeport, CT. Luisa was born in Peru but had relocated to the Connecticut area many years ago. She reunited with her husband the late Pedro S. Barahona who together owned America Plastic Covers. She was such a talented Seamstress and for many years together they served the City of Bridgeport and beyond; She is survived by her sons Ricardo Barahona and Pedro Barahona and his wife Nilda; her daughters Zoila Barahona, Mercedes Rojas and her husband Cesar and Luisa Barahona; fourteen grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends whom will miss her dearly. Friends are invited to attend Calling Hours on Sunday, February 1, 2015 from 6-8 p.m. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz (Peaceful Light Funeral Home), 426 East Washington Ave. Bridgeport, CT. Funeral Services have been schedule for Monday, February 2, 2015, 9:00 A.M. DIRECTLY at St. Charles Church, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Interment will follow at Mt.
