Obituary of Miriam Alvarez- Batista

Mirian Alvarez- Batista, age 59, of Bridgeport transitioned into the embrace of the Lord on January 18, 2015 in her residence. Miriam was born in Bronx, NY but had relocated to the Connecticut area many years ago. She is the daughter of the late William Alvarez and the late Georgina Rivera. She is survived by her beloved husband Angel Batista whom she is been married to for fifteen years. In addition to her husband she is also survived by her son Luis A. Rodriguez; and a host of other relatives and friends whom will miss her dearly. She was predeceased by her son the late Wilfredo D. Rodriguez. Friends are invited to attend Calling Hours on Thursday, January 22, 2015 from 7-9 p.m. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz(Peaceful Light Funeral Home), 426 East Washington Ave. Bridgeport, CT.
