My condolences to Milagros's family. I can hardly imagine my first few years at Central High School without her love and support. Her passion for teaching and children truly helped form the teacher I still am today. I am forever thankful for having such a wonderful mentor. Rest in peace Mrs. Rodriguez

My prayers go out to the family at the loss of such an amazing woman. I never had her as a teacher... my older sisters did..but she took me under her wing and encouraged me ALWAYS to go to college... when it was time to apply for local Scholarships at my high school, she and several other teachers fought to get me money. What an amazing woman and legacy she leaves behind.

My dear colleague, Milagros Rodriguez, you have had a lasting impact on hundreds of young people whom you taught to make better life choices while working as a Vice-Principal at Central High. You also were a positive advisor and colleague to me in my early years as a new teacher. Your family should know your influence has been far-reaching through your work in public schools. I thank them for the details provided in this tribute, which allowed me to learn even more of your accomplishments which you were far too humble to speak of when we worked together. God bless you and your family.
