Obituary of Manoah Dunbar
Manoah S. Dunbar, age 91, was born on March 23, 1923 in the District of Jobobo, Oriente, Cuba; He was the son of the Late James and Laura Dunbar; in 1951 he became and employee of the United States Nava base in Guantanamo Cuba then worked until he immigrated to the United States in 1970. He began to work in different Automotive Body Shops and then he gained employment in Sikorsky Aircraft in September 1980 the same year he received he became a Citizen of the United States. He retired from Sikorsky on April 5, 1991. He is the beloved husband of the late Federica Dunbar whom most recently also entered the Gates of heaven above just weeks ago. He is survived by his sons Alberto Dunbar, Dario Dunbar, Francisco Dunbar, Daniel Dunbar; Two daughters from his previous marriage Judith Dunbar Rochester, Ms. Jennifer Dunbar; three sisters in Cuba, Five Brothers in Jamaica; sixteen grandchildren , several nieces, nephews, relatives and friend in Cuba, Jamaica and the United States; Friends are invited to attend a Memorial service on Saturday, January 24, 2015 at the Messiah Baptist Church, 210 Congress Street, Bridgeport, CT; Please sign our online book of Memories where you may share your thoughts, memories, prayers, pictures and so much more and is found EXCLUSIVELY at www.luzdepaz.com;
