Max, you were truly "one of a kind"!!! My heartfelt condolences go out to your family, friends and loved ones. You will be missed. Memories of our convos, laughter, sarcasm, and strong, outspoken opinions will forever be cherished with a smile. May God's eternal peace be with you.

I am sorry to read about the passing of Max. There is a Scriptures that bring me comfort when I lose my Dad;"God is close to the brokenhearted" (Psalm 34:18). God make us a promise and we have a real hope of being reunited with our death loved ones again (Acts 24:15, John 5:28,29). In this moment of deep sorrow, God's word provide so much comfort.

Max, my friend, you will be missed. You were taken way too soon from us. I am saddened that I didn't get to say goodbye. I know in my heart that you will always be an angel above watching over me and all of your other friends that are still here. May fly with the Angels and be at peace my friend. Many hugs.

Max was a great guy. Last time we spoke was like 3 weeks ago. He always had a smile and joking around all the time. I will remember that he always said to me that my lunch orders on the grill were called "manwiches" because they were big chicken sandwiches. I will miss Max good sense of humor and at St. V's he would always greet me "Papo que Paso?". Max you will be missed. Rest in Peace my friend.

Dear Max... I will always remember your smiling face and how well you were able to multi-task with all of us hungry folks waiting in line as you prepared our morning breakfast. Last time I saw you was March 2014 at St V’s and you looked healthy and happy...That is how I will remember you... God Bless you Max, may you rest in peace in heaven

Max made our days better at work. The common theme of messages left from your friends is certaintly laughter. You made a connection with so many people. I don't know if you even realized it. One Christmas you told me you didn't receive many gifts and I asked you what you would want. You replied "a new car" with your usual grin. I know you didn't mean a matchbox car, but, we both laughed when you opened it! I hope you have the gift of eternal peace now.

My dear Max, I will miss you so much. You always made me laugh wether at Oxford or at St. V's. No matter how much time would pass, we always picked up with our jokes and taunts as if it were just yesterday. I am heartbroken that you have passed but It gives me comfort knowing you are no longer suffering and in heaven with the angels. You will always be remembered by many as you were loved by many. You left an ever lasting impression in our lives and we will always love you for this. May you rest in peace my wonderful friend!!

Max, I could always depend on you to make me smile. You always had a smile and something pleasant to say, no matter how busy you were cooking up a storm. You are part of the fabric of my memories at Oxford.

Maxie, I'm going to miss you. You always knew how to make me laugh by denying me food (you would always sneak me extra cheese anyway, so thank you for that). I pray that you are at peace my friend. My condolences to the family. Max was an amazing person and he was loved by so many coworkers and friends. With Love, Lucy Stevens
