Obituary of Ana Ortiz-Aponte

Ana L. Ortiz-Aponte, age 91, of Bridgeport passed away into the peaceful rest of the Lord on December 16, 2014 in Northbridge Nursing Home, Bridgeport, CT. She was born on April 20, 1923 in Barranquitas, Puerto Rico to the late Catalino Ortiz and the late Maria Rios. She is survived by her son Anibal Aponte; her daughter Maria M. Aponte; her siblings Francisco Ortiz, Angel Ortiz, Rafael Ortiz, Gloria Nuñez, and Rosa Ortiz; her eight grandchildren Anibal Jr., Denis, Emily, Ronnie, Maribella, Melissa, Ivan and Karina; twelve Great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends whom will dearly miss her; She was predeceased by her daughters the late Carmen L. Aponte and the late Brunilda Aponte, and her siblings the late Engracia Vazquez, the late Felix Ortiz, the late Monserrate Ortiz and the Late Josefa Ortiz; Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Friday, December 19, 2014 beginning at 11:00 A.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz (Peaceful Light Funeral Home), 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport followed by a funeral service in the funeral home at 1:00 P.M. Interment will follow in Mt.
